Hey, it's me!

Hey, I'm Melissa.

📍 Designer based in New York, United States
🎓 Bachelor of Arts in Psychology @ Stony Brook University
💖 Social impact, community building, psychology, accessibility

My journey began as a pre-med student looking to become a clinical psychologist. As a psychology student, I have a deep understanding of people's emotions, behaviors, motivations. How they behave and feel interacting with something is essentially UX. Therefore, I always been fascinated by the interactions that everyday designs had on human psychology.

I want to become a designer focused on providing enjoyable, accessible, and meaningful experiences to users. My interest in design stemmed from my early passion in all forms of arts. At a young age, I have competed in many state-wide art competitions and had my artwork placed in the Long Island Museum gallery twice!

Aside from design, I ventured out into digital arts, photography, and video edits. On occasion, you might catch me playing games such as Valorant and League of Legends with my friends! Maybe even browsing for my next keyboard build too! 🤭
